Tanner is a Registered Canadian Patent Agent whose work involves drafting and prosecution of patent applications, conducting patent searches, and patent infringement and validity analysis. Tanner is also presently training in the field of Trade Marks.
Tanner is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Biology. His educational background includes studies in cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, genetics and plant biology. Tanner has also studied in chemistry and physics.
Tanner is an Affiliate Member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. He has attended several courses and meetings dealing with practice in the field of patents.
