Tanner Hukezalie, a partner at Craig Wilson and Company (also known as CWC Intellectual Property), is a licensed Canadian patent and trademark agent as well as a U.S. patent agent. He specializes in drafting and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, conducting clearance searches, and management of client’s IP portfolios either outside of or within his client’s organizations.
Tanner is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Biology. Specifically, his educational background includes studies in cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, genetics and plant biology. Moreover, Tanner has also studied in chemistry and physics.
With a strong background in developing and managing intellectual property portfolios for companies of different sizes, Tanner brings a wealth of IP management experience to the table. In addition, he also is well versed in corporate trademark counsel.
Furthermore, Tanner is an Associate Member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. He has attended several courses and meetings dealing with practice in the field of patents and trademarks.
